ABOUT THE TEAM

2007-2008 saw the girls enter the League for the 1st time and the results early on didn’t reflect the effort the girls were putting in. Even after heavy defeats the spirit of the girls never dropped, they always came off the pitch smiling and they ALL turned up for training the following week. The attitude of the girls was fantastic and this was rewarded when, not only were they voted the Notts Girls and Ladies League Under 14 Sportsmanship Winners, but also Overall Sportsmanship Winners for the whole League. The Girls were not only a real credit to the Club but also to girl’s football in general. The 2nd half of the season saw the girls play some great football and they were rewarded with a vast improvement in scorelines. We were competing in every game and were rewarded for our efforts with 2 draws. This in my view was a fantastic effort and the girls truly deserve all the praise that has come their way from other managers for their effort and attitude. A big thank you must go to All the parents for their fantastic support during the season But most of all a Massive thank you to ALL the girls for their efforts week after week, you really are a credit to the club. This season sees us playing in the Notts Girls And Ladies Under 15 Section. Our home games are to be played on Pasture Road, Stapleford, with away games at various venues throughout the county. We train on Pasture Road on a Tuesday evening during the summer and at Wilsthorpe School, Long Eaton during the winter. New players are always welcome, please use the contact us section.
