A very good first season in the Notts Youth League which saw us win the League Championship and also the Chairman’s Cup beating some very good teams along the way. This is the standard we will have to maintain for the coming season. The team has been together now since under 7’s and many of the original players are still playing for the team and this has given us the platform to build on. During the past season the team without doubt played its best football to date and scored some lovely goals as a result of this. The most pleasing aspect for me though was the way they were always prepared to battle for each other. This was a key point in last season’s success. In games where we looked out of it, the togetherness of the team got us through. Many thanks to all the parents for their help and support during the season. Long may this continue. Thanks also to the players for the way they conducted themselves and how they represented the Club. This season sees us playing in the Notts Youth League, again on a Sunday. Our home games are played on Pasture Road, Stapleford. Away games are at various venues around the county. We train on Wednesday evenings during the summer on Pasture Road and during the winter we train at Wilsthorpe School. New players are always welcome.
